Construction underway for new trekking experience at Disney's Animal Kingdom

Construction is now visibly underway at Kilimanjaro Safaris for Disney's Animal Kingdom's new savannah trekking experience coming later this year. The first visible work is on the right side as you head into the hippo area. Markers are positioned along the cliff edge, which is speculated to be the location for one of the more adventurous parts of the trek, where safety harnesses will be used to pass along the edge of the cliff. The second construction area is a large walled off area close to the elephant area.
