One of the Magic Kingdom's classic walk-through attractions will be closing for refurb beginning July.
This walkthrough attraction is a must do for any visitor to the Magic Kingdom who is physically able to climb the stairs. It's such a charming place to explore, view all the details and image yourself living in this magical treehouse. I love the water system that pulls from the stream below and follows an intricate pipeline down to the family kitchen. This is truly imagineering to its finest. A treasure of the Magic Kingdom.
The Treehouse is an essential Adventureland experience. If Tomorrowland has a futuristic, magnetised, automated transport to show you the land from above, Adventureland has got exploration on foot, and glimpses through the exotic treetop over the neighboring land.
Great fun, a must see for those with an appetite for exploration and an appreciation of detail.
The Swiss Family Treehouse is a decent experience provided you're willing to walk through the whole thing. It's a neat setup and it gives a great view, but it's really up to you to get enjoyment out of it.
There are never really any lines for the treehouse. It is massive and has plenty of things to look at including the large water pulley system. There is a great view of the castle towards the top as well. It's a good attraction for when you wait for your fastpass time to come or something of the sort.
The Swiss Family Treehouse is a walk-through attraction in Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom based on the 1960s movieSwiss Family Robinson. It takes around 10 minutes to climb the 116 stairs to the very top.
