Walt Disney World's Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom has not reopened this morning from its month-long refurbishment.
The closure began January 10 and was scheduled through February 10, with a reopening to guests planned for February 11 2022.
All of the scaffolding is removed and water can be seen throughout the attraction, but not on the main drop. Logs are visible but not cycling.
Cast Members are expecting the ride may reopen later today.
This closure was for routine maintenance, with no changes to the show, or work on the upcoming transformation into the Tiana themed ride.
The most notable visible change is the new landscaping on the upper left corner where much of the scaffolding and rock work maintenance was carried out.
