Disney has updated the Magic Kingdom FastPass+ offerings which sees the removal of parades and fireworks.

Wishes, Festival of Fantasy Parade and the Main Street Electrical Parade are no longer part of the FastPass+ line-up at the park.

Disney only recently built dedicated FastPass+ viewing areas in the new Main Street Plaza Gardens for firework viewing.

On a excel spreadsheet in Burbank with no input from WDW Operations...

It's not "another" the wishes party has just moved locations.

Queuing up Oprah voice..... "WE HAVE ANOTHER UP CHARGE.... YOU GET AN UP CHARGE. .. YOU GET AN UP CHARGE.... EVERYONE GETS AN UP CHARGE! !!!"

Again-the view here will be so much better. And why waste all the cash they just dropped on the new viewing areas??

Disney just sees $$$

And the logistics of moving that many people through the crowds waiting for the fireworks isn't going to be an issue at all. Seems totally thought through.

Well it seems we have a reason for this now. Get your $59 same day dessert party reservation for wishes and view from the Plaza gardens.

What makes anyone think desserts would be part of the mix? Why wouldn't they just charge the $80 for access to the premium space? Would make more cash and we all know people would still pay!

Haha-This makes for an awesome visual though...:cautious:

At least the tomorrow land terrace is covered in case of rain. When it was cheaper I loved it because you weren't committing to standing out in the rain. But at the new price ill never go again.

But to be surrounded by the commoners still squeezed in like sardines, jealously eyeing you over the fence...

This was my thought too....I wonder if they will move the dessert party to one of these areas? The view would be much better than Tomorrowland. It would be fugly while they set it up and the Tomorrowland Terrace definitely lends itself more to food prep than the middle of the hub, but that's one way to not waste the crap-ton of cash they just dropped on all of that astroturf.

My guess is the Fast Pass viewing areas will become a Wishes ticketed event such as a dessert party.
