Following last month's debut of the new-look overhead roadway signs at Disney World, crews have just installed the first of the new-look pole-mounted Mickey Ear signs.
The sign features the new shades of blue, white and yellow text, with Mickey Ears displaying the directional arrow. This sign can be seen near to Disney's Hollywood Studios alongside the entrance to Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.
The new signs will be deployed throughout Walt Disney World over the course of the next two years.
The 30 year old purple signs were famously created by the same team that produced directional signage for the 1984 Olympics in LA, Sussman/Prejza & Co. The new modern signage debuting today features shades of blue and yellow, similar to those seen at the newly repainted Transportation and Ticket Center and the new gateway entrances.
