Raytheon will host interactive 'Science Thrills Live' shows for park guests at Epcot's Innoventions West next week.

The company will celebrate the week hosting Science from Scientists, with scientists demonstrating spectacular concepts. They will also encourage guests to design and experience their own thrill ride at The Sum of all Thrills presented by Raytheon. Raytheon employees will be on hand to lead guests in hands-on experiments, sharing their passion for engineering with all.

The 20 minute "Science Thrills Live" shows will take place daily from February 17 to February 21 at 11am, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm at Innoventions West.

You can read more about the event here.

Any "plussing" at Innoventions is a win in my book.

Would it kill them to have a meet and greet (or better, "meet and learn") with a Scientist in FW? https://twitter.com/touringplans/status/435438702928859136

Forget it..... It doesn't involve a meet and greet..... Would it kill them to have a meet and greet (or better, "meet and learn") with a Scientist in FW?

Wasn't there a rumor last year that something like this or a mini expo was maybe going into Epcot innovation area in Jan-Feb month?

They should make something like this permanent. People really like science magic shows and the like. Forget it..... It doesn't involve a meet and greet.....

I'm always happy to see something at Innoventions that's not just a commercial.

At least they are using some of the unused space that side desperately needs ever since Rockin Robots and the Segway Central left.

Innoventions usually hosts a science-based event around this time every year. Normally with Bill Nye as the main draw. I believe this is the first time Raytheon has done something, but it shouldn't be considered LTM. Things like this happen anyway. For a limited time.

That's why I called it Limited Time Magic and not "Limited Time Magic." "Limited Time Magic" ended in 2013. Quite a few of the official "Limited Time Magic" events would have happened anyways. A few did the just the year before.

Epcot needs to bring In Stuff like this for a few months at a time and when its done have something in that spot within a week. Epcot has so much potential to be great :(
