World Showcase Lagoon firework platform construction - July 4 2023

Crews are continuing to install pilings in the center of World Showcase lagoon to support the infrastructure of EPCOT's new nighttime show.

So far, more than two dozen pilings are in position, with more on the way. Note that the pilings will be cut below the water level, and will not be visible.

Disney has remained very tight-lipped about the new nighttime spectacular, with only a single piece of concept art released so far. Disney has said the new show will debut later this year and will be the replacement for the now-closed Harmoinous show. EPCOT Forever will continue to play in the interim until the new show is ready.

I agree. I think the finale fireworks set could be just a few seconds long, and it needs the final crackles like so many other shows have. But, the finale itself is awesome. I agree the song also could have worked as the intro. But, the building part with the center sprays and then the finale itself are great. Not quite I:ROE level, but a solid finale.

I don’t honestly understand the complaint that the finale doesn’t emotionally feel like one. I can’t imagine listening to “Beating of Our Hearts” and not feeling it build.

Those are totally not the real ones. The one link posted the page back is the real one. It features full credits in the description and is listed under Pinars "Topic" channel. The Topic channels are for music publishers that upload the actual music (or whatever official media) for the artist, so it's an official source. It also matches the mp3s I bought directly from Amazon JP. As far as 5 songs missing from the playlist, no idea. Media uploads are weird with distribution so I'm not going to even waste my time questioning it (not you or anything, just media rights and that kind of stuff).

Fan-made. "Sounds of Disney Parks" is not an official company channel/producer. "The Most Magical Music on Earth" is not a company channel/producer either. No production notes for either.

And whose channel is that? Disney's? I asked specific questions about it, and you're just saying "it's real." That's not an answer to my question. And why would an official Disney album be missing a track?

There are 6 pieces of dialog and SFX missing, and about 1 minute missing overall.

Which one is suss? This is the real deal here, just need to VPN to Japan to view it currently. And it seems to be missing some of the songs.

This just absolutely made my day. Was listening to the soundtrack on YouTube earlier what a coincidence 😂

Ummm, where's the production info? Is this really a Disney release? On YouTube Music there's two versions of the soundtrack. One clearly created by a fan. The other with album info that's pretty suss.

Let the record state that I was correct.

It sounds great! Wish Disney did this for all their shows and parades again.

How about the new world celebration music?

Like I said, I know it was a lot of work but it was fun to figure out on a lazy day. Edit: I wondered but never looked around, but it's confirmed some of Mariachi Cobre is officially a part of Luminous!

I know, but patience is unfortunately a virtue I lack. Also, as a college student studying for finals, anything to procrastinate.
