Beginning September 8 2017, Disney's Hollywood Studios will offer a new Fantasmic! Dessert & VIP Viewing Experience.

It all starts at the Fantasmic! theater where you’ll pick up your snacks inspired by the show. Menu items feature a variety of sweet and salty treats for adults or children such as chocolate-dipped strawberries, cheese and crackers and make-your-own “worms and dirt” pudding.

Each guest also receives a light-up cup with a specialty drink (alcoholic optional for Guests 21 and older), along with a bottle of water.

After you pick up your food and beverage, you’ll be directed to a VIP reserved seating area for Fantasmic!

The Fantasmic! Dessert & VIP Viewing Experience costs $39 per adult  and $19 per child (ages 3 to 9).

Reservations can be made now online.

What. We always get the Fantasmic Package at Mama Melrose for lunch and sit on the bench closest to the railing and have never gotten wet. Must be a wind related experience. But you're telling me now that now I can't sit front row without a dessert package.

I went in and pretended as if I was booking another date. It's under a section titled "Guest Policies"

It was mentioned during the booking process. There is a little area for the "small print" when it's talking about cancellations and paying in advance and all that, it says seating is in the first two rows and guests may get wet.

First step will be A B C pricing on seats

habumaAug 23, 2017

Did they mention this during the booking process or is it somewhere on the dessert party page that I'm not seeing?

Jeremy PAug 23, 2017

I think calling it garbage is extreme but it's definitely not on par with World of Color.

LongLiveTheKingAug 23, 2017

It's not quite up to par with World Of Color, then?

disney4life2008Aug 20, 2017

Garbage

disney4life2008Aug 20, 2017

Rivers of light is garbage

Jeremy PAug 20, 2017

Correct, and they do specifically mention that when booking.

Otherwise known as..... "the wet zone". I wonder if that comes with a souvenir towel. :joyfull:

We just booked this and according to Disney's website, the VIP seating is in the front two rows.

And by the look of it you only get a good view if you are seated at a table next to the railing since the people at the railing tables block the view for everybody else.

I assumed it would be this.
