EPCOT's new World Celebration Gardens is now home to a Sunglass Hut store.

One of the recently installed kiosks near Creations Shop offers a range of Sunglass Hut brands, including Ray-Ban, Versace, and Prada. The Festival Market kiosk is part of the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival.

Sunglass Hut has a long-standing relationship with Disney, operating locations at Magic Kingdom, Typhoon Lagoon, and Disney Springs.

I'll bet these two kiosks cost about $1.5bn in R&D and construction. $58.5bn to go! ;)

And people had the audacity to complain that Disney wasn’t putting capital investments into the park!

Starbucks and TWDC are on the same page promoting a culture of inclusion.

I've never liked Starbucks in the parks. It detracts from theming... plus nearly everything at Starbucks is terrible, but that's a separate discussion.

I think they have those at Animal Kingdom too. I bought some of those for my mother to put in her yard, she loves them. I bought them off Amazon though.

Sunglass Hut: “I thought we were getting a location in Disney Springs?” WDW: “You didn’t say if you wanted the free one or the one people pay to get in.”

Dad to family: "We are not going to pay for Genie+ and ILLs here in EPCOT" Dad thinking to himself: "Since we are not going to get on any attractions today AND I saved a sh@t ton of money not buying Genie+ and ILL I can do some sunglass shopping and maybe pick up a pair of those sweet Mickey and Minnie Wayfarer line of shades". ;)

And the rent is a majority fraction of the gross not the net. There was an episode of the show by Marcus Limonis of a popcorn store in Disney Springs and the percentage was insane.

It does remind me though that most Disney park drama / controversies usually die out and are forgotten.

Oh and I totally forgot - at Epcot Starbucks replaced the Fountain View Cafe that overlooked fountain of nations - I LOVED starting my day there. They had really good pastries.

Oh gosh, the Starbucks on Main Street thing was a wild time. People were livid.

The future is so bright, ya gotta where shades don’t ya know…! 😎 -

Starbucks on Main Street was VERY controversial and still is. I still miss the Main Street Bakery and I’m a total coffee addict. I also hate that we lost starring rolls at studios. Sad times.
