Several attractions and shops at Epcot will be operating reduced hours from Sunday February 14 2016.

Disney Pixar Short Film Festival

The recently opened Disney Pixar Short Film Festival will close at 7pm instead of its current 9pm close. On evening EMH nights it will close at 9pm.

Journey into Imagination

Journey into Imagination in Future World will change from its current 9pm close to a 7pm close, 9pm on evening EMH nights.

Disney Phineas and Ferb: Agent P's World Showcase Adventure

Agent P's World Showcase Adventure will now close at 6pm, from its current 8:15pm close.

Living with the Land

The Living with the Land boat ride in the Land Pavilion will close at 7pm daily, down from its current 9pm close.

Mouse Gear

Mouse Gear currently operates from 8:45am to park close, but from Sunday, the new hours will be 1 hour after park opening to park close.

Therefore on typical morning Extra Magic Hour days, Mouse Gear will open at 9am, and on regular days, it will open at 10am.

Epcot has evening extra magic hours tonight.

Did they not go through with these cuts? I'm looking at the Disney app and says that Living with the Land and Imagination are open until 9pm. The Agent P thing did get reduced down to 6pm though.

Years ago I remember people coming over the Odyssey bridge from World Showcase actually being routed through the Centorium (now Mousegear) after Illuminations. I also recall being in Mousegear after Illuminations a few years ago. I'm actually shocked they would close at 9pm now.

Got to disagree, I love riding LWtL at night.

Exactly, the point of a night time show or attraction is to keep people in the park to be able to spend more money as they stay. Food, drinks, snacks and more souvenirs.

But the article on the News section of this site states it currently closes at park close and will close at park close. Therefore we can assume nothing is changing. I would be very surprised if they don't keep the store open after 9pm/9:30/10pm as the exodus is probably one of the busiest periods.

With the way management is talking, I wouldn't be surprised to see them turn the lights off at 8:59:59 and unplug the registers. "Go on, now, GIT!"

That usually means they won't let you in once park is closed. Kind of like a party at MK. Which never made sense to turn away someone with an open wallet

The article states Mouse Gear currently operates from 8:45am to park close, but from Sunday, the new hours will be 1 hour after park opening to park close. Therefore on typical morning Extra Magic Hour days, Mouse Gear will open at 9am, and on regular days, it will open at 10am. So Mouse Gear currently operates to park close and will continue to operate until park close. Realistically this means the store is open after park closing time.

Not when most of the merchandise is the same as that of the Emporium/WoD store. It would make sense to keep it open if a third of the merchandise was unique but it isn't.

They are cutting hours at the START of the day at Mouse Gear. So the store opens an hour after park opening. I expect the store will be open at least an hour after closing time as that is much busier than opening time.

I guess we are seeing the Shanghai cuts now...You would think MouseGears would stay open for last minute purchases when people leave through the front of the park...Guess not!
