A major road widening project is now getting underway on one of Walt Disney World's busiest roads. The stretch of E Beuna Vista Drive, starting at the secondary entry/exit of Disney's Hollywood Studios and ending on Victory Way, is being widened to accommodate more traffic and ease congestion.
E Buena Vista Drive is one of Walt Disney World's most traveled roads, linking Dowtown Disney, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom, a multitude of resorts, and World Drive - which leads to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Adding even more traffic to this already busy road will be the almost 2000 room
'Disney's Art of Animation Resort' opening May 31 2012, which is located on Victory Way, just off of the road area being widened.
Work is beginning now, and is expected to last a couple of months. Look out for possible delays and reduced speed limits in the area.
