Anyone ever have luck with disney when they move up refurb schedules? We wouldn't have purchased water park as part of our ticket. We booked a while ago but just found out BB is closed now, we just arrived.

Just don't forget that one of the reasons the new Miss Fortune Falls raft ride is long is becuase you climb the lift hill while sat in the rafts, similar to Kali rapids. Whereas on the raft ride at Blizzard Beach you board at the top of the slide. Total downhill time will proably be similar to Blizzard Beach I guess.

Did they? I have to go check it out since I couldn't get past the annihilation he was getting for the Joe Rohde story haha

Sounds great. Love the play on words, love the name, love that it is loooooong! Should be a blast and a welcome addition to my favorite Disney Park of them all!

Nah. They'll just shut the place down and put up a fence with rocks around it.

I would expect so, barring any kind of technical problem delaying open.

So i'm going to assume that Miss Fortune Falls will open on March 12? I can't imagine it won't open up with the park.

Guardians of the Galaxy overlay anybody?

That's a great name... until someone drowns. - and I don't mean that as they shouldn't name it that. I really like the name. I mean that as our hyper-sensitive public/execs will change the name the first time someone drowns or is seriously injured there.

Interested in seeing the new raft ride at TL

Thanks Steve. Of course it is all subject to change, as I/we learned this past year. A week before opening TL extends its refurb by 2 weeks (majorly bumming us out!) then is forced to open anyways as BB is unexpectedly closed down (a terrific surprise!).
