The Downhill Double Dipper slide at Disney's Blizzard Beach water park is temporarily closed.

The slide has been closed since yesterday due to a water leak, and is expected to reopen later this week. The rest of the park is operating as normal.

Using dual enclosed slides, riders on Downhill Double Dipper race down the very steep, hump-backed slide on an inflatable tube. Electronic timers and an automated gate starting system add to the racing theme.

It's a water leak issue.

Huh? Other than having a similar shape, the two don't compare to one another. Even if you're thinking of Summit Plummet, there shouldn't be concerns. Disney doesn't have anything so intense that it requires straps and nets. Unfortunately this is yet another infrastructure issue at Blizzard, hopefully they can fix this one the first time.
