Cantina de San Angel set for major refurbishment in early 2010

The very popular Mexican quick service restaurant 'Cantina de San Angel' is set for major refurbishment in early 2010. Along with the recently opened Tequila bar, La Cava del Tequila, the new outdoor quick service location has been talked about for several years now. It is now expecetd that the demolition of the current building will begin in January 2010. The new building is set to offer better seating capacity, and a reduction in congestion in that key walkway into World Showcase.
The Mexico City Food and Wine Festival booth has been left in position (now named Taqueria Del Lago) and is expected to remain in place to provide outdoor quick service Mexican food during the refurbishment of the Cantina.
