Walt Disney World is the biggest consumer of pyrotechnics on the planet, presenting spectacular firework shows each and every night at its theme parks.

Here is our run-down of some of the very best.

Heartbeat of Freedom - Fourth of July

Epcot's Fourth of July show takes the daily firework show to a new level with a 5 minute pyrotechnic salute to America as its finale.

Celebrate America - A Fourth of July Concert in the Skies

The Magic Kingdom's Independence Day Spectacular takes place with multi launch locations around the park and in the Seven Seas Lagoon.

Symphony in the Stars

Before the move to projection shows, Disney's Hollywood Studios presented the ultimate Star Wars fireworks show with incredible pyro design set to the iconic Star Wars movie music. Sadly, the launch sites for this type of show were lost with the construction of Star Wars Galaxy's Edge.

Although the show ended in 2107 after 14 years of wowing Magic Kingdom guests, Wishes remains one of Disney's most beloved shows. Narrated by Jiminy Cricket, who memorably served as Pinocchio's conscience in Disney's animated masterpiece, "Wishes" tells a thrilling, heart-tugging story about making wishes come true.

Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular

Building on its acquisition of Lucas Film, Disney introduced a nightly Star Wars themed firework spectacular at Disney's Hollywood Studios in early 2016. Combining projection-mapping technology, lasers, special effects and fireworks, Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular is a new generation of nighttime spectacular.

Happily Ever After

Happily Ever After has big shoes to fill, replacing the fan favorite Wishes at the Magic Kingdom. The show includes projection mapping, lasers, more lighting, and a huge barrage of pyrotechnics.

Welcome to Our World

Held over the Seven Seas Lagoon and the shore of the Contemporary Resort in 2010 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the American Pyrotechnic Association, Welcome to Our World is the largest firework show ever shown by Walt Disney World Entertainment.

Frozen Fireworks

The World was in a state of Frozen fever in 2014, and Disney's Hollywood Studios presented an incredible firework show featuring music from the movies wonderfully catchy soundtrack.

Holiday Wishes New Year's Celebration

New Year's Eve rivals the fourth of July for fireworks across America, and the Magic Kingdom celebrates in style with Holiday Wishes and 360 degree perimeter fireworks surrounding the park.

Epcot's New Year's Eve Celebration

Staying true to its international theme, Epcot's World Showcase celebrates New Year's Eve around the world, with fireworks taking place high over each country.
