Celebrating ten years of the space shuttle Atlantis at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, the public is invited to join NASA astronauts in an event on Thursday, June 29, 2023.
The event will consist of 2 live panels at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. involving firsthand experiences from veteran NASA astronauts, including some who have actually travelled onboard Atlantis!
Taking part in the celebration is expected to include Richard “Mike” Mullane, Anna Fisher, William “Bill” Shepard, Guy Gardner, Chris Ferguson and Mike Baker.
The panel of NASA astronauts will answer pre-submitted questions from the public and provide guests with selfie opportunities.
