If you are staying at one of the Magic Kingdom Resort hotels over the next month you may be able to use a new direct bus service to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park.

Through until March 28 2015, Wilderness Lodge and the Contemporary will share a direct service to Typhoon Lagoon, as will the Polynesian and Grand Floridian. Service operates every 20 minutes from 30 minutes before park opening to 1 hour after park close.

Previously, and for other resorts not taking part in the test, the Typhoon Lagoon bus service operates are follows:

  • Before 2pm, take the Downtown Disney/Typhoon Lagoon bus from a resort.
  • After 2pm, take a bus or monorail to Epcot and then transfer to a Typhoon Lagoon bus.

It's not really direct if it is stopping at the Contemporary AND Polynesian. But, I get the concept. :)

I hope this goes well and they end up doing the same with Blizzard Beach. It's so annoying to swing through BB when going to and from DAK....especially when BB is closed for its annual refurb :banghead:
