Walt Disney World reservations system upgrade outage this Thursday

The Walt Disney World reservation system is undergoing an upgrade on Thursday which will mean there will be outages affecting the ability to make certain reservations.  The system is expected to go down from 5am on Thursday February 23 2012, and is expected to be completed later that day when normal service will resume.

Disney are advising guests that:

You should aim to make any dining reservations for Thursday February 23 before 10pm on Wednesday February 22 2012.

Collect any February 23 dinner show reservation tickets (such as Spirit of Aloha) from the hotel front desk before 10pm on Wednesday February 22.
