'Car Masters Weekend' returns to Downtown Disney for 2012

Car Masters Weekend is confirmed to be returning to Downtown Disney this summer, on June 2 and June 3 2012.  Launched last year (photos from last year's event), Car Masters Weekend celebrates the "Cars" movies with meet and greets with Lightning McQueen, Mater, and Finn McMissile

Events for this year include:
  • a movie marathon at AMC Downtown Disney 24 with showings of “Cars” and “Cars 2."
  • an appearance by automotive designer Chip Foose, who contributed to the design of Ramone in the “Cars” film.
  • a LEGO interactive zone.
  • “Cars”-themed topiaries.
  • a DJ and food trucks.
  • an appearance by Jay Ward, Cars guardian.
  • a chance for guests to test-drive Ridemakerz model cars.
  • a car show presented by Hess that will feature more than 100 classic, muscle and exotic cars.
