The Polite Pig is just a few weeks away from opening, and things are looking mostly complete on the exterior.

The 5000 sq. ft. restaurant located in the Town Center will serve both lunch and dinner, with indoor seating for 200 guests. View The Polite Pig menu.

James and Julie Petrakis, Chef/Owners of The Ravenous Pig and Cask & Larder in Winter Park are creating The Polite Pig, along with Chef Brian Petrakis, James' brother who owns and operates Greens & Grille in Orlando.

On our last day for Disney, we went here for dinner. It was very good! I got the grilled chicken. The Food had very interesting bbq flavors. The lemonade was also very good and fresh. It was their own specialty kind.

Photo update as of Friday, September 28, 2018. The tile roof has been installed on the roof overhang, which matches tile roofs on other buildings in the area. Overhead fans and lights, and copper gutter have been installed. Cast member states inspection will be next week, and perhaps opening by next weekend.

It appears the Polite Pig is adding a shade structure to its outdoor seating area.

Today it was $4. Had the fried chicken sandwich, sweet potato tots, and split a pitcher of beer with a friend. My total was $34 including tip.

When I think of Chicago I think of BBQ ...

disney4life2008Apr 14, 2017

I am from Chicago. There is one thing that Orlando is no good on and that is bbq. Though 4rivers does an edible job.
