Fans of the legendary Pinocchio Village Haus Figaro Fries have had to wait over 6 years for their return, but now the Golden Oak Outpost in the Magic Kingdom's Frontierland has new loaded waffle fries offerings that closely resemble the original.

Costing $5.99 each, there are four speciality waffle fries available - BLT Waffle Fries topped with Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, and Ranch Dressing, Brown Gravy and Cheese Waffle Fries topped with Brown Gravy and White Cheddar, Barbecue Pork Waffle Fries topped with Barbecue Pork and Coleslaw, and Tex-Mex Waffle Fries topped with Black Bean Cucumber Relish, warm Cheddar and Slice Jalapeños.

And just for old times' sake, here is a look at the original Figaro Fries.

I hope they are still there for me next summer.

Woohoo Figaro's are back or at least a close rendition! They all do sound and look good.

They would be even better with a big old thwack of guacamole on top. :inlove:

Me, too. The only thing those bad boys are missing is meximeat (and a defibrillator, but that's a plus with vacation food).

I know the area well ;)

I have since moved away from an exit :) I used to be exit 16 on the Turnpike (or 72 on 80) - Teaneck in Bergen County. I now live out in Montville (Yeah, that Montville, with the RHONJ) which is sort of where 80 and 287 meet. -dave

:hilarious: Oh, what a flashback!!

DisneyDebNJAug 15, 2014

You from Jersey?? I'm from Jersey... what exit?!! LOL (sorry.. hadda say it )

plaz10Aug 15, 2014

I was thinking the BLT ones but adding some plastic cheese! But I'm open to any and all snacks! With 6 of us - we would have to get at LEAST 2 different kinds...

TiggerishAug 15, 2014

So true, so true. :hilarious: Which is why I count myself fortunate to have @plaz10 as my snack buddy.:D Come on, November!! These are just another reason to be excited for that trip. ;) I would try any and all of these, but I am particularly hearing the BBQ Pork and Coleslaw version calling my name. :hungry:

Judging by the description, they are more like Disco fries than poutine. Disco fries and coffee at 3 AM - ahhhh, youth :) -dave
