Margaritas are back at the Marketplace in Downtown Disney with today's grand opening of Dockside Margaritas.
The brand new water-side bar and lounge features a wide range of margaritas, frozen drinks, local Florida craft beers, Florida fruit wines, and even a non-alcoholic specialty drink.
Dockside Margaritas replaces the old Captain Jacks Margarita bar with more seating, including both a lounge area, and bar counter area - both with views of the village lake. There is also a quick service pickup window if you prefer to get the drinks without the full bar service.
Anything on the menu looks to be a safe bet, but our pick was the Patron Anejo Margaritas, which you can see pictured above - the perfect refreshing margarita for a hot Florida day. A nice touch with the bar service is a pre-drink palette cleaning spring water.
Live music takes place 2:30 to 10:30pm on Sunday through Thursday, and 12:30 to 10:30pm on Friday and Saturday. Operating hours are 12pm to 10:30pm Sunday through Thursday, and 12pm to 11pm Friday and Saturday.
Dockside Margaritas joins the ever-growing list of new venues opening as part of the Disney Springs redevelopment of Downtown Disney. Most recently, The BOATHOUSE opened in The Landing, offering high-end signature dining and a water-side bar and lounge.
