Pixar Pals Countdown To Fun! parade opening day video

Pixar Pals Countdown To Fun! parade debuted yesterday at Disney's Hollywood Studios to replace Block Party Bash which had been showing since March 2008.  The new parade features characters from "The Incredibles," "A Bug’s Life," "Ratatouille," "Monsters, Inc.," "Up," and "Toy Story", and performs daily at 3pm.
 
For many people, 'Pixar Pals Countdown To Fun!' will appear to be a cut down version of Block Party Bash. It uses the same floats, many of the same characters and costumes, but what has been removed is perhaps more glaring than what has been added. The parade stops have been eliminated, meaning that the parade travels from Hollywood Blvd to the Star Tours gate as a traditional parade, and the duration has been reduced to approximately 7 minutes. All of the high energy stunts, choreography, and guest participation have been removed, making the parade more of a walk-through of characters. Two new characters are part of the parade, Carl from UP and Remy from Ratatouille.
