Disney to live stream the debut of 'Epcot Forever' on October 1

Disney will be live streaming the debut performance of 'Epcot Forever' on October 1.

According to Disney, the new nighttime spectacular will be an all-new, limited-time spectacle of fireworks, music, lighting, lasers and choreographed special effects kites. The show takes us on a journey through the past, present and future of Epcot, featuring a stirring collection of songs that paint a colorful picture of the park, with a look towards the future and all the magical possibilities still to come.

The live stream begins at 8:50pm on Tuesday October 1 - we'll post a link just before showtime.

IllumiNations Reflections of Earth will have its final performance on Monday September 30.

I remember in the Von's grocery store in the town where I was living in California back then, had a gigantic medallion graphic of Light Magic Logo on the floor of the grocery store entrance and a bunch of ticket and product promotions tied to it... They were really planning on it being absolutely huge.... Even widened the path to Small World, added lighting rigs and raised viewing areas....Sadly it was gone before I even had the time to go see it.... It was probably also like our "Rivers Of Light" flop....

Aside from those the Beauty and the Beast/Out There, Music is my Language - Coco, Someday and Hercules/Go the distance. An After Hours presentation with only pyro may change audiences thoughts since the barges aren't there.. But if they were to pop in Epcot Forever for after hours like they do Enchantment then I'd be happy with that!

No one would ever buy into any such reason why they would want to replace Illumination's or get rid for this!

As someone who didn't get to see the special, how much of it was spent on luminous and it was the section actually good unlike the behind the attraction nighttime spectaculars episode. The thing about the behind the attraction episode that annoyed me so much was that they spent 10 minutes on harmonious and didn't even mention reflections of Earth at all.

I just watched EPCOT Becoming: Inside the Transformation and they have a whole segment about Luminous being a part of the transformation but zero mention of Harmonious. As you say they clearly want people forget about it.

Harmonious was a clip show designed to show diverse voices. It was a product of the moment and ended up kind of backfiring and playing into stereotypes instead. Luminous is significantly better and would downgraded by allowing any of that garbage within 500 feet of it

Harmonious will forever be considered just a 50th Anniversary showcase highlight but why must some or all of the music pieces from this show need to be forgotten. If you took the music it's no more different than Luminious just fuller than just a snippet. Imagine highlighting some of Harmonious using existing pyro Luminous barges it could give a bit of power and action to improve Luminous perhaps....

Literally people complained about Illumination's ROE for it's dead time, then came Epcot Forever and Harmonious with none and now you get Luminous with it! Which is why enjoy because any ask for change doesn't mean it's going to be changed just saying.

Very doubtful. I think they want everyone to forget about Harmonious. This shows already had more effort put in it for after hours events with it having anniversary tag ran as its' own show. With all lighting and fountains too.
