Nope if what they announce is what is currently available at other areas around Orlando then I'll compare like with like thank you very much, if they get unique global offerings which I highly doubt Disney has the foresight to do that ... then I'll compare my interests versus the want to go inside said shop.

Good to hear you are keeping an open mind and not pre-judging things:) The Landing is mostly restaurants with a handful of retail sprinkled in. The Town Center is going to be the primary retail location. We don't have a whole lot of details on what stores are coming to that section. I'm gonna guess no matter what they announce and build in the Town Center you will prefer Mall @Millenia.

Well from the initial list for the Landing has nothing makes me want to spend a day at Disney Springs which is the whole point. I would rather be inside the nice air condition Mall @ Millenia. They want you stay at Disney Springs the whole day.... they gotta work harder than getting an 'Art of Shaving' store.

Maybe 1 of a few people on this board but AoS has been expanding its retail operations, so it must be selling its wears to many people.

LOL, that makes 1 of you.

Without even knowing which stores are going to be at Disney Springs?

Nah hire a town car for a round trip is around $90. Loads of international guests get shock horror the bus a few rent a town car. I would say it appeals more to out of state Americans that international guests.

The Art of Shaving is IMHO the perfect kind of store for DS. One of their more popular items is a travel kit. The AoS is basically a men's Basin. Guys like to pamper themselves. And everyone knows people on vacation turn their brains off. Perfect for selling $175.99 shave kits.

This does seem the odd man out. If most guests fly, not sure they'll be able to bring shaving supplies back onto the plane. And there is one in Millenia for the local Bay Hill/Celebration market.

That has to be an $70 cab ride each way, tho, right? If you don't drive--and a lot of international guests don't--I imagine that will be a factor. Plus the psychological benefit of staying in the "Disney bubble."

I've been using the Art of Shaving stuff for overv8 years now. Simply some of the best stuff, I wouldn't go back to anything else. What I'm hoping for is a Barber Spa, nothing better then the Royal shave and haircut. They finally opened a Art of Shaving in our mall but no Barber Spa, so I will be looking forward to this one opening.

Sunglass Hut is a beast of a company who does extensive marketing research prior to placing a location. What sort of foot traffic, what its demographic and socioeconomic composition , and average per capita revenue of similar types of stores in the local area is. Its a "lifestyle" company. Now for BabyCakes, its better than most alternative bakeries, but for me I have better options available as I can eat gluten, meat, dairy without any problems. For those people who cant or chose not to eat those things, more power to them they'll have some place for treats they can eat.

"Let's go to Disney and buy shaving supplies!" said no one ever.

Speaking as a Brit would rather go to Mall @ Millenia ...
