The Winnie the Pooh and Tigger meet and greet at Disney's Animal Kingdom will have its last day of operation on Saturday May 10 2014.

You can find them currently meeting guests at the Discovery Island Character Landing. After May 10, they will continue to be available for meet and greets at Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom.

Expect to see some new Next-Gen met and greets opening in all four parks in the near future that take advantage of Magic Bands and some interactive elements.

A few days ago the Minnie Mouse meet and greet at DHS was appearing as a Tier 1 Fastpass+ attraction beginning May 11th. I wouldn't be surprised if the plan is for all of them to go to Fastpass+ only on May 11th.

honestly, I did not noticed it until we stopped to the bathroom near it. We were looking towards dinoland. When you're on fast marching you can miss a lot. Also.. there was a photo of the entrance somewhere in this forum. (btw, when I was there a year ago.. the camp Mickey and Minnie was still open)

I've never seen a wait at that M&G. Which is why I liked it.

yeah i noticed but but given how crowded every square inch of disney is i was still surprised no one found it

Let's bring them over to Epcot theme park, like there would be multiple versions at the same time, one in the Land, then the UK pavilion, and at character spot!

To be honest; last time I was there, the entrance looked pretty hidden.. and it was next to a bathroom building! so no surprise many failed to notice it on their way to dinoland. So makes sense to have CMs now telling people to meet them.

FP+ was designed to move people to under attended attractions...but I fail to see why they just wouldn't shut down the greet.

i met Pooh and Tigger at AK in March and CMs were practically begging people to stop and meet them. absolutely 0 line which surprised me. maybe theres not enough demand for them at that park?

Isn't A.A. Milne from the UK?

They were cut at DHS

Let's not forget that Pooh and Tigger are at Epcot UK Pavilion as well...

Yeah - still get to hang with them at Magic Kingdom next to their attraction. Not sure if it still happens all the time, but Pooh characters were usually out at Park Open at DHS by the hat before being swapped out for the 1950's movie star version of the characters.

I wonder how long until the magicbands are done correctly in these M&Gs. Where you get called by name by the princesses or characters.. making it even more "special" and personal.
