Securing a place in the TRON Lightcycle Run Virtual Queue and Lightning Lane continues to be a challenge for Magic Kingdom guests

TRON Lightcycle Run Virtual Queue and Lightning Lane entrance

Soft openings continue at TRON Lightcycle Run today, and guests wishing to ride Walt Disney World's newest attraction face a familiar challenge.

Both the 7am and 1pm Virtual Queue windows were exceptionally short-lived, open for only 4 seconds. Guests unfamiliar with the process or not quick enough on the app were left out of luck.

With the free Virtual Qeueue allocation quickly exhausted, non-resort guests found little success securing an Individual Lightning Lane purchase. Opening to Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests exclusively at 7am, the entire Lightning Lane allocation was sold out in 10 minutes, leaving nothing for non-resort guests hoping to buy Lightning Lane at park opening.

TRON Lightcycle Run continues to operate on reduced hours, from 9am to 6pm. One hope for guests visiting from April 4 is that longer hours may improve the situation, especially for the 1pm Virtual Queue.
