Casey's Corner at the Magic Kingdom has reopened to guests today after more than a year-long closure.

Cast Members hosted the traditional first pitch and 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game' song to welcome the first guests back to the fan-favorite Magic Kingdom restaurant. Check out the video below to see the welcome (4K YouTube version) .

No changes have been made on the inside, although the restaurant is currently operating as Mobile Order only, meaning you must place an order via My Disney Experience and the return at the designated time for pickup.

Outdoor seating remains available, with the familiar red and white umbrellas lining the side of the building.

Sadly there is no sign yet of the return of the Main Street pianist.

Inside there is limited indoor seating in the memorabilia-lined hall.

When my family comes to visit they don't get it. Where's the beans, they say.

Here in Texas, we own the definition of "Chili". Real chili doesn't have beans!🤣

TampaRangerMay 11, 2022

I hope that's the case. When I asked the server at the counter what happened to the chili (in a joking manner), he obviously was newer and didn't know what I was referring to. A manager overheard me and said that the recipe had recently changed.

Perhaps its a temporary change because of the current supply chain crisis.

Disney changed the chili used for the chili fries and it's now terrible! Before the COVID closure the chili fries included a generous portion of red chili with plenty of meat. Now it's half the amount of chili, brown, and nearly all beans with very little meat. Very disappointing.

Randy mentioned on his public Facebook page that long-time Casey’s Piano Player Jim has retired. While I wish him a happy retirement, it’s sad news for those of us who enjoyed his wonderful playing!

Bob will be back on the 14th when Riverside opens.

I almost had a reason to go back until I read he was just visiting. I remember watching him as a kid.

Perhaps yeehaw Bob will audition if they don’t plan on bringing him back to the Port.
