Halloween Horror Nights 35 at Universal Orlando

Halloween Horror Nights is back at Universal Orlando Resort this fall for its 35th anniversary, running for 48 select nights from August 28 through November 1 2026. Tickets are on sale now.

This year's event transforms Universal Studios Florida into the "Infernal Carnival of Nightmares," a decrepit, fear-fueled carnival concept anchored by two of the event's most recognizable icons.

Jack and Oddfellow Team Up

Jack the Clown is arguably the most famous character in Halloween Horror Nights history. First appearing at Halloween Horror Nights X in 2000, Jack Schmidt - a murderous clown with a flair for chaos - became the face of the event and has returned multiple times over the past 25 years.

Dr. Oddfellow, a sinister carnival barker and ringmaster, has brought a big-top menace to the event and made him a fan favorite.

For Halloween Horror Nights 35, the two icons are joining forces as co-ringmasters for the first time. Long-standing rivals in the event's lore, they'll anchor the "Infernal Carnival of Nightmares" theme together and headline their own haunted house, "Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control." The house explores the origins of their rivalry and the moment they decide that working together is the path to maximum terror.

What to Expect

The 35th anniversary event will be Universal's largest Halloween Horror Nights yet, featuring:

  • 10 all-new haunted houses
  • New scare zones and street experiences
  • Entertainment, food, and merchandise throughout the park

Full details on haunted houses and additional announcements are still to come.

It always amazes me the work that goes into HHN! It doesn't compare to the "phone it in" things done for Mickeys Halloween party.

A HHN thread in January is like still having your Christmas tree up in summer.
