Universal Orlando 2025 Events Announced, Including Early Start for Halloween Horror Nights

Universal Orlando has unveiled its 2025 event lineup, offering a wide range of seasonal experiences for visitors throughout the year. One standout change is the earlier start for Halloween Horror Nights, kicking off on August 29, making it the earliest debut in the event’s history

Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval

Dates: February 1 – March 30
Celebrate Mardi Gras’ 30th anniversary with international cuisine, live music from stars like T-Pain and Joe Jonas, and dazzling parades featuring vibrant floats.

Butterbeer Season

Dates: March 1 – May 31
Enjoy creative takes on Butterbeer in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, along with themed treats and exclusive merchandise.

Universal Volcano Bay Nights

Dates: April 19, 26; May 3, 10, 17
On select spring evenings, immerse yourself in Waturi culture with this new nighttime event at Universal’s Volcano Bay. Additional details will be shared closer to the dates.

Halloween Horror Nights

Dates: August 29 – November 2 (select nights)
The event starts earlier than ever, featuring haunted houses inspired by horror films and original stories, scare zones, and themed food, drinks, and merchandise.

Back to Hogwarts

Dates: Fall 2025
A fan-favorite celebration in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will return with more details announced later this year.

Holidays at Universal

Dates: November 21 – December 31
Celebrate the holidays with Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Grinchmas, and festive decorations across the parks. Seasonal treats and activities make this a can’t-miss experience.

omg we made the mistake of taking our then-11-year olds to an event called Dark Nights at Hersheypark this past fall. Had fun on the rides all day, but at night, we decided to try out a haunted house and went with one called “Auntie Mortem’s Abattoir”. They had full panic attacks and were screaming at the top of their lungs. We will see if they ever go to another haunted house… In my defense, I didn’t know what an abattoir was. Now I do…
