Universal has confirmed Stranger Things as one of the haunted houses coming to Halloween Horror Nights 35, releasing a teaser video for the attraction. The house is based on Stranger Things 5, the final season of the Netflix series.

Inside the House

The haunted house puts guests at the center of the final battle to save Hawkins as the barrier between reality and the supernatural collapses. You'll move through iconic locations from the show, including:

  • The Wheeler House
  • Hawkins National Laboratory
  • The MAC-Z military base
  • The Upside Down
  • The Abyss

Throughout the house, Demogorgons and other supernatural creatures hunt guests at every turn — with Vecna closing in as the terror builds toward an all-or-nothing fight for survival.

Universal describes the experience as an authentic, visceral take on the season's most gripping moments, placing guests face to face with characters and scenes directly from the show.

Merchandise Available Now

A limited-release merchandise collection inspired by the Stranger Things haunted house is available now at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood. The collection includes:

  • A T-shirt and mug with an '80s-inspired design
  • A Stranger Things-themed acrylic figure that fits into the separately sold Infernal Carnival collectible display

The collection launches online Thursday, June 18 at 9am PST at shopUniversal.com. Additional Halloween Horror Nights merchandise and more collectibles representing this year's full haunted house lineup will follow in the months ahead.

Halloween Horror Nights 35 at Universal Orlando

The Stranger Things house is the first confirmed IP for Halloween Horror Nights 35, which is the largest event in the history of the franchise. The event features 10 all-new haunted houses built around the "Infernal Carnival of Nightmares" theme, co-hosted by iconic HHN characters Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow.

Single-night tickets at Universal Orlando start at $88 and are on sale now, with prices varying by date up to $130 on peak October Saturdays.

While they have time to introduce it, Express Now isn’t a thing for HHN and I doubt that it will be for this year. If it is, I only see it being offered after a week or so into the event when they get a good idea of which houses could absorb extra Express capacity without too much additional impact to both the standby and Express lines. That pretty much rules out being used on the major IP houses as they will pretty much always have longer Express lines. I also doubt they will put that now “available” capacity into more single night Express sales, at least not fully. I’m not saying that I expect a huge positive impact on standby lines, but I don’t see a big reason to be super pessimistic for the results, either.

They're probably doing that so they can sell more single-use Express passes, which is now a thing. However, I hope it also reduces wait times.

I need to go to this ASAP. If they do this right it'll be the best house theyve ever done.

I will say something that I know doesn't surprise most people but I went to HHN for the first time last year and I was shocked by how horribly mismanaged it was in any inclimate weather. It was the only time I've ever left a theme park/event early (I love staying for the whole thing) but the experience was MISERABLE and my wife and I could not stay any longer. that being said... the houses were top notch, amazingly built in all aspects.

Just waiting for the multiple night tickets to be released

I'm surprised that Universal was unable to bring the Netflix movie KPop Demon Hunters to Fan Fest in Hollywood this year and yet they were still able to partner with Netflix for this

It always amazes me the work that goes into HHN! It doesn't compare to the "phone it in" things done for Mickeys Halloween party.
