Another major name in dining is coming to Disneyland's Downtown Disney District, as Gordon Ramsay and the team behind Earl of Sandwich prepare to open Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby, a new British-themed gastropub inspired by London's iconic Carnaby Street.

A Taste of '60s London in Anaheim

Located atop the newly opened Earl of Sandwich, Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby will combine the flair of 1960s London with elevated pub dining. The space is designed to channel the "Swinging London" era, with plush interiors, bold pop art, and a lively soundtrack of British Invasion hits.

Guests can expect two outdoor terraces, a central bar area, and intimate booths. The restaurant is intended to be a gathering spot for both locals and visitors looking for British hospitality and familiar pub comfort food with a refined twist.

Classic British Dishes from Gordon Ramsay

The menu will feature several of Ramsay's most recognized dishes, including:

  • Beef Wellington - Ramsay's signature entrée known worldwide
  • Fish and Chips - crisp, golden, and tender
  • Sticky Toffee Pudding - a rich dessert staple of British cuisine

The drink list will include a wide selection of beers, wines, and London-inspired cocktails designed to complement the food and atmosphere.

"All eyes were on London in the 1960s -- a full-on technicolor scene of people going out and having fun," Ramsay said. "We're bringing those cool vibes to Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby. Stunning interiors, incredible food, and great music -- it's going to bring the best of cool Britannia to Downtown Disney."

Live Music and Evening Entertainment

The experience will continue after dark, with live music and themed performances inspired by the era. The entertainment lineup will reflect the energetic and stylish nightlife of 1960s London, turning The Carnaby into a destination for dinner and a night out.

Expanding the Downtown Disney Culinary Lineup

Gordon Ramsay joins a growing list of celebrated chefs with locations at Downtown Disney, including Carlos Gaytán (Paseo, Céntrico, and Tiendita) and Joe Isidori (Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon and Pearl's Roadside BBQ).

No opening date has been announced yet for Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby, but construction is expecetd soon above Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney District.

Looks like the full sandwich menu - Caprese and Holiday Turkey are both there - my favorites!

I was expecting the new location to be almost done if not done by now. But they’ve had delays including now getting Gordon Ramsay as a tenant for the top bar/restaurant. So now I expect a spring opening. Until the yes you should still be able to get Earls at the temp truck location. I don’t know if it’s their full menu, but should be most of the popular stuff at least.

Gotcha! Wasn’t sure if the tavern was just referring to the sit down portion. As long as I can get my caprese from the earl I won’t starve! (Pickings are getting slim in the parks! Haha)

All of Earl’s that was inside of the old La Brea Bakery location. The temp location in the food truck around the corner is still open until they finish the new location over by the new DTD entrance.

Is that just the tavern or is the entire earl closed now?

Hopefully it moves along faster than the bbq and steak house

And to think I was almost convinced Portos would never actually happen.

The countdown now begins to see how fast they can complete the new site.

At the Westfield Topanga mall in Woodland Hills, a bunch of relatively well-known LA restaurants and chefs have licensed their brands to Earl Enterprises, who runs the 20ish stalls of their "Topanga Social" food hall out of a central kitchen. It's a novel idea, i'm not surprised to see others do the same thing. The problem, of course, is whether Disneyland visitors really care about that kind of thing. I don't really think they do, especially with those insane prices that are undoubtedly handicapping the entire thing. Hopefully the new Porto's can manage to keep their pricing reasonable.

It also may explain why they've kept more or less the current menu in the interim, just removed the "branded" names from the drinks (and I suspect using different beans too). GG's Chicken Shop doesn't even mention the Anaheim outpost on their socials or website, and Seoul Sister looks like it was especially created for Parkside Market (a la this new coffee joint).

I wonder if it was just a licensing deal and that’s why it’s just going to the “park side” brand? Certainly all of those places are sharing one central kitchen.

Here is the presser portion for Sip and Sounder they also have locations in Inglewood and Downtown LA. Seems each downstairs locations is owned / operated individually. Upstairs is owned by Parkside Market. https://www.sipandsonder.com/
