Oogie Boogie Bash 2026 returns to Disney California Adventure on select nights from August 18 through October 31, with 33 party nights in total. Tickets go on sale to the general public on June 18, 2026. Here's everything you need to know before you buy.

Ticket On-Sale Dates

Tickets go on sale in stages:

  • June 16 — Inspire Magic Key Holders pre-sale (limited tickets)
  • June 17 — All Magic Key Holders pre-sale (limited tickets)
  • June 18 — General public, no earlier than 9am PST

Sunday, September 27 is a D23 Members-only night. Tickets for that date go on sale June 16 via D23.com.

What's Included

The party runs from 6pm to 11pm. Your ticket also gets you into California Adventure from 3pm — three hours before the event officially starts. Unlimited Disney PhotoPass digital downloads from the party are included with admission.

What's New in 2026

The headline addition this year is "Madame Leota's Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party," a brand-new street experience coming to California Adventure. Madame Leota hosts a spirited séance and swinging wake through multiple show-stopping moments, with 999 happy haunts, ghostly dancing, and ghoulish character appearances.

An optional Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party gives you an enhanced viewing experience of the street party, with a new selection of treats themed to Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. Reservations will open on Disneyland.com later this summer.

Trick-or-Treating and Characters

Trick-or-treating runs along immersive themed treat trails throughout the park. You'll also encounter not-often-seen Disney villains and characters dressed up for Halloween across California Adventure.

Villains Grove transforms Redwood Creek Challenge Trail into a walkthrough experience inspired by Disney villains including the Queen of Hearts and Dr. Facilier. On select evenings, Ichabod Crane races through the park with the Headless Horseman in pursuit.

Oogie Boogie Bash as Part of Halloween Time

The party is part of the broader Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort, which runs August 21 through October 31, 2026 across both parks, all three resort hotels, and the Downtown Disney District.

Outside of the party, California Adventure's daytime Halloween offerings include:

  • Radiator Screams in Cars Land with Mater's Graveyard JamBOOree and Luigi's Honkin' Haul-O-Ween
  • Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark in Avengers Campus each afternoon
  • "Mickey's Trick and Treat" at the Disney Theater in Hollywood Land, beginning August 18
  • Seasonal decor on Buena Vista Street including the Headless Horseman statue and Oogie Boogie moon silhouette

Over at Disneyland park, Haunted Mansion Holiday returns with Jack Skellington, Sally, Zero, and Oogie Boogie — and a brand-new gingerbread house design in the ballroom. The Main Street Pumpkin Festival gets a new addition this year too, with a Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge tribute near the Partners Statue featuring Chewbacca and the Millennium Falcon.

Each evening, "Halloween Screams" projects Maleficent, Ursula, and other villains across Sleeping Beauty Castle, Main Street, U.S.A., "it's a small world," and the Rivers of America. Fireworks are included on select nights.

For an add-on experience, Disney's Happiest Haunts Guided Tour explores eerie storytelling across both parks with valid theme park admission.

Plaza de la Familia

Running alongside Halloween Time from August 21 through November 2, Plaza de la Familia at California Adventure celebrates Día de los Muertos with nods to Pixar's Coco. Entertainment includes live storytellers performing songs from the film and mariachi at the Paradise Garden Bandstand. Paradise Garden Grill brings back the Chilaquiles Carnitas Torta for the season.

Hotels and Dining

All three resort hotels get seasonal decor this fall:

  • Pixar Place Hotel — new Monsters, Inc.-inspired decorations
  • Disneyland Hotel — Haunted Mansion-inspired touches and a seasonal confection display
  • Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa — its own seasonal confection display

Character dining returns at both properties:

  • Storytellers Cafe at the Grand Californian hosts Mickey's Autumn Adventures (breakfast and brunch) and Clarabelle's Enchanted Halloween Dinner (evenings)
  • Goofy's Kitchen at Disneyland Hotel hosts Goofy's Kitchen Celebrates Halloween throughout the day

Adults 21+ can enjoy a Halloween cocktail menu at Broken Spell Lounge in Disneyland Hotel. Tenaya Stone Spa at the Grand Californian is offering Halloween-themed hair, makeup, and nail services, plus seasonal treatments including the Wicked to the Core foot treatment.

Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit

Search for Disney-themed pumpkin carvings across Disneyland, California Adventure, and Downtown Disney. Pick up an activity map at resort retail locations and redeem it for a keepsake prize. Separate park admission is required.

PTN is running because of the 70th, which glows away in September.

PTN ran till ACF last year.

I went to OBB twice but now there's no reason to go anymore. They really need to rotate characters way more or even better, put the event in DL like it should be in the first place. I just don't think it's nearly as fun in DCA, you can barely do the treat trails, see the parade, and then do Villains grove as it stands. I can't believe they also ran WOC halloween show once and never made a new one/ brought it back. The price of admission just isn't justifiable, the frightfully fun parade was fantastic.

Rest assured, A Christmas Fantasy will outlive us all.

Seeing as ACF is at Disneyland, and not California Adventure, no there isn’t a reason to be concerned. There just isn’t an easy way to run FFP this year due to construction. PTN was always meant to end before Halloween, just like it did last year.

So........No Parade and PTN for Halloween....... Who's the Responsible Resort??????? No Halloween Parade is a Big Miss! Should we worry about ACF Now????? Never understood why the Park that invented MSEP can't keep a Night Parade around for Good!!!!!

Great work on those bats! Certainly work that was done by a human artist!

A Haunted Mansion-themed parade/street party is a good idea on paper, but it makes no sense that to celebrate a version of the ride that isn't even open that time of year. Maybe Disney really wants to advertise trips to Florida that time of year?

And whatever happened to Mahaloween at Trader Sam's? Seems like they could just print money with those limited edition Zombie mugs...

mickEblu3 days ago

I’m sure they’ll add a new maze or WOC show to make up for it. 😉

Scott got it confirmed from Disney, this replaces parade.

She ... died. Of course there wasn't a second season. And she's probably in Vision Quest.

Headless Horseman is still riding, just not as the precursor to the parade. Someone did point out that Coco construction is likely why parades are not possible at the moment, but that does not bode well for the scale of this street party unless they really fill it out with performers.
