EPCOT's Figment joins the racers in Disney Speedstorm video game launching April 18

Figment is joining the races on Disney Speedstorm arriving on April 18th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X and PC.

The spark of imagination from EPCOT joins other Disney and Pixar characters in this cross-platform arcade combat racing game. Disney says that more Disney and Pixar characters will be added regularly, bringing new special skills for you to master (or overcome), new karts to upgrade, and unique tracks with each season update.

Half way through the Toy Story side thing so far. Its a pain trying to get the last piece to unlock Jack Sparrow though.

Nah, I think there are tons of differences between this and mario kart. I actually prefer the racing in this. Drift is completely different, but makes more sense. Plus there's much more of a focus on 1 player mode, with online multiplayer. Each character has a unique ability, and they all don't get the same things from item boxes. Also holding down the skill button vs just tapping it does different things. And the roster is going to get huge. With the way they're adding people, there's no way we're not close to kissing 50 within the first year of launch.

Who all has played it? I love dreamlight although once you do everything its boring to wait for the next update. Is this just mariokart with disney characters?
