From Tuesday, June 30, 2026, Virgin Atlantic is moving all operations at Orlando International Airport (MCO) from Terminal A to Terminal C. If you're flying Virgin Atlantic to or from Orlando — including those connecting trips from the UK to Walt Disney World — your arrival and departure experience will change.
Virgin Atlantic has served MCO since 1992. The airline runs a daily nonstop between Orlando and London Heathrow and between Orlando and Manchester, stepping up to twice daily during peak periods. A seasonal twice-weekly nonstop between Orlando and Edinburgh also operates throughout the year.
Terminal C opened in 2022 and hosts most of MCO's international airlines. The relocation coincides with the opening of four new MARS (Multiple Aircraft Ramp System) gates — numbered 250-254 — which can handle eight narrow-body gate equivalents or four widebody aircraft simultaneously.
The airport says it is making the change to better balance passenger flow across the complex, reducing congestion at security checkpoints and concessions.
What to Know Before You Travel
- Customs: Use the free Mobile Passport Control (MPC) app to reduce wait times on arrival. Visa Waiver Program travelers can use MPC after a previous U.S. entry. U.S. citizens can also use Global Entry (fee-based).
- Rental cars: Contact your provider to confirm pickup details. All three terminals — A, B, and C — offer rental car pickup and dropoff. You can return your car at any terminal.
- Connecting passengers: If you arrive at Terminals A or B, follow signs for the Terminal Link tram to reach Terminal C.
