The Walt Disney World Express monorail is now playing an updated narration track.
Tom Kane, who had been the voice of the WDW monorail since April 2012, passed away earlier this year in Kansas City at age 64, following complications from a stroke he suffered in late 2020.
This video captures the new narration now playing on the Express monorail. The most notable change is the addition of vaping to the no-smoking announcement: "For the comfort of others, no smoking or vaping please, thank you."
What isn't clear is how the change was made. Is this a new voice actor, or has Disney used AI to produce the updated track?
