The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin has launched its Summer Story Worth Telling promotion, bringing a lineup of savings and on-property activities that run all the way through August 2026.

Savings for Annual Passholders, Teachers, and Florida Residents

If you qualify for one of these groups, you can save a significant chunk on your room rate:

  • Walt Disney World Annual Passholders – up to 30% off
  • Teachers and school personnel – up to 25% off
  • Florida residents – up to 30% off

These discounts are available at swandolphin.com/offers and work alongside Disney's Florida Resident Theme Park offers.

What's Happening Each Month

June

June brings nightly cinema on the beach, daily s'mores on the shore, and featured drink specials. Two foodie holidays are also on the calendar:

  • June 7 (National Chocolate Ice Cream Day) – complimentary scoop of ice cream for kids
  • June 22 (National Onion Ring Day) – free onion rings

FIFA World Cup Coverage (June 11–July 19)

If you're a soccer fan, the Swan and Dolphin has you covered with all-day match coverage on big screens, Game Day food, and tournament-inspired cocktails. Traveling from the tournament in South Florida? Take the Brightline train to the hotel and get a $25 credit per night — a "Match to Magic" perk.

July and August

A Summer Concert Series launches in July and runs exclusively for hotel guests through the end of August. Each event features live music, themed food trucks, and specialty cocktails. Highlights include:

  • July 4th weekend – America's 250th Birthday Party with a free slice of cake
  • August – five concerts, a rotating menu of food including empanadas and elote, and a free scoop of ice cream for kids all month long

What's Included When You Stay

The Swan and Dolphin sits inside the Walt Disney World Resort, which means guests get access to perks beyond the hotel itself:

  • Six pools with family-friendly activities
  • 23 dining options
  • Three health clubs
  • Complimentary transportation to select Walt Disney World locations
  • Waterway and walkway access to Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT
  • Early entry to all four theme parks daily
  • Extended evening theme park hours on select nights in select theme parks

A Sizzlin' Summer Guidebook is available online to keep track of all events and activities throughout the season.

I really like the swolphin complex…the pool alone is fantastic Don’t know if I love it when it’s 99 Everyday though…the walking near the lake can be a tad tedious

The swan reserve was gorgeous, I'd never go to any other deluxe. The location is pretty much unbeatable and the pricing. I paid like $300 a night which was on par with POFQ

Let’s see… February…no Dec/jan…not really August…no Last may…no Last march…no But don’t listen to me…I’m a “Disney hater”…remember? 🤪 (I am on ice from burnout…too much. No mas, senora)

Been visiting during summer for quite some time. Can't even remember the last time the parks felt "too crowded" (for me), tbh.

Yeah I’ll meet you out front on say August 5th and take a look with ya? I’m not “theorizing” from Ohio…I’ve seen it repeatedly. It’s just not a place where the summer crowd goes…guess these could more than just the heat, huh?

Sirwalterraleigh13 days ago

Nobody goes then anymore…It’s too crowded

Idk if this is any indicator, but I was surprised to still find a room at Pop Century for the days around the 4th of July, and with an AP discount, too.

Yes, to some extent, but both WDW and Universal always offer August/Early Sept discounts for 20+ years. This isn't new or different from any other year. WDW is like Kohls. Never pay full price at Kohls or WDW. The AP discount is also a year-round offer at S/D/SR. Though pricing at those are always dynamic.

see…i read into it the place will be bout empty…and guess what: it will be!!!

These are AP discounts. The S/D/SR AP discounts are generally offered year-round, but they have been offered every August going back a long time. WDW's dining deal in late summer also goes back a long time. I wouldn't read much into this offer.

Yet another indication of softness at the swamp. Disney announced their early and late summer discounts months ago. These are immediate discounts tailored to entice locals and those that would be more inclined to take spur of the moment type trips. Despite the talking points from Hugh G. Johnson indicating that bookings are improving (compared to what...who knows?) Resorts, Restaurants, and Parks are slow with no expectation of improvement. The tell on that - talk to CM and they'll tell you that hours are getting cut and PT aren't able to pickup shifts, and OT is scant.

Doesn’t matter. Same mindless response every time.

I mean. This wouldn’t be a discount Disney is offering would it? Wouldn’t this be a Marriott move?

I need to give them a try… that Wyndham is always gonna be cheaper though! Haha
