To get the free dining plan, you need to purchase a nondiscounted Walt Disney Travel Company package that includes at least 4 nights at a select Disney resort and a theme park ticket with a Park Hopper option. The package must be a minimum of 4 nights and 4 days.

How the Disney Dining Plan works

If you book a Deluxe or Deluxe Villa resort, you get the full Disney Dining Plan. Every guest in your party ages 3 and up receives the following per night of your stay:

  • 1 Quick-Service meal
  • 1 Table-Service meal
  • 1 snack or nonalcoholic beverage
  • 1 resort-refillable mug

So on a 4-night stay, each person gets 4 Quick-Service meals, 4 Table-Service meals, and 4 snacks. You can use them in any order throughout your trip -- they don't have to be used day by day. All unused meals and snacks expire at midnight on checkout day.

Quick-Service meals include an entrée and a beverage. Table-Service meals at lunch and dinner include an entrée, dessert, and a beverage. Guests 21 and older can substitute a nonalcoholic beverage for a beer, wine, or cocktail where offered.

Note that some dining experiences use 2 Table-Service credits per person, including Cinderella's Royal Table, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall (lunch and dinner), Be Our Guest dinner, and all dinner shows. Fine/Signature Dining restaurants also require 2 Table-Service credits.

Advance reservations for Table-Service restaurants are strongly recommended and can be made through the My Disney Experience app. Gratuities are not included, except at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue and Cinderella's Royal Table.

How the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan works

If you book a Moderate or Value resort, you get the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. Every guest ages 3 and up receives per night of stay:

  • 2 Quick-Service meals
  • 1 snack or nonalcoholic beverage
  • 1 resort-refillable mug

On a 4-night stay, that's 8 Quick-Service meals and 4 snacks per person. No dining reservations are needed -- just order at any of the 100+ participating Quick-Service locations across the resort.

Each Quick-Service meal includes an entrée and a beverage. Snacks cover items like popcorn, ice cream, a piece of fruit, or a 20-ounce bottled drink. No reservations required for this plan.
