Disney's Polynesian Village Resort has opened its new bus stop today, July 13, completing a major reconfiguration of transportation at the resort.
Buses have moved away from the main Port Cochere, with Disney transportation now using the former main entrance road to reach the dedicated new bus facility. Guest vehicles continue to use the resort's recently opened new main entrance.
The new bus stop has three designated pick-up points:
- Disney's Hollywood Studios
- Disney's Animal Kingdom and Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park
- Disney Springs and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
The stop is also fitted with the standard Walt Disney World arrival board, giving you real-time bus schedules and wait times for each destination.
How to Get There
If you're staying at the Polynesian or visiting the resort, the new bus stop is located in roughly the same place as the previous bus stop, alongside the monorail beam. It's separate from the Port Cochere, so don't head there expecting a bus.
Magic Kingdom and EPCOT guests continue to use the monorail or the resort's boat service.
