Disney's Grand Floridian Resort Continues Updates Through 2025 with New Lobby and Convention Center Refurbishments

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa at Walt Disney World will begin additional refurbishments from April through November 2025, with work focusing mainly on updates to the lobby and convention center. These latest refurbishments follow recent room updates and renovations completed at several dining locations across the resort.

During this upcoming refurbishment period, Disney says construction will take place during daytime hours, so you might see or hear crews working. Portions of the lobby will temporarily close at different times, but pools, dining locations, and other resort amenities will remain open.
