The main staircase at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has now reopened following refurbishment work, bringing back one of the lobby's most recognizable features.
The staircase now features brand-new carpeting with rich floral patterns that tie into the lobby's Victorian-inspired design. Fresh paintwork brightens the surrounding area, giving the staircase an updated yet familiar appearance.
Above the staircase, a large mural now adds an eye-catching new detail, featuring the Grand Floridian itself.
The staircase reopening comes as the Grand Floridian continues its multi-year enhancement project, which includes refreshed guest rooms, updated dining spaces, and a reimagined lobby complete with a new Victorian-inspired bar. The full lobby refurbishment is scheduled to run through November 2025.
