A refurbishment is coming to the Convention Center at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. Work begins August 10, 2026, and runs through late September 2027.
The El Centro Corridor and surrounding areas are part of this project too. Disney is tying that work to the Convention Center refurbishment.
Here's what you can expect during the project:
- Work happens in phases, so only parts of the Convention Center and El Centro Corridor close at any given time.
- Individual spaces become temporarily inaccessible as each phase moves through.
- Crews work overnight to limit impacts.
- You may still see or hear construction activity in the area during your stay.
If you're booking a stay or event at Coronado Springs Resort between August 2026 and late September 2027, plan for some construction activity nearby.
