Even Waldorf and Statler turned up for Easter - the duo are part of a Muppets-themed egg display in the lobby at Disney's Contemporary Resort between the check-in area and the entrance to the Steakhouse 71 restaurant.
The display puts Miss Piggy front and center - a full-figure statue in a silver gown, posed on a draped table behind a velvet rope. She's flanked by a row of framed Muppet character Easter eggs, each one set inside an ornate arched frame with colored backlighting.
Every figure in the display is crafted from chocolate by Disney's Culinary Cast Members. The detail on each character is impressive, from Miss Piggy's flowing gown down to the individual expressions on each framed egg portrait.
Characters featured in the display include Kermit the Frog, Animal, Gonzo, Fozzie Bear, Scooter, Sam Eagle, Waldorf, and Statler.
The whole setup fits the Muppets' signature style - part variety show, part red carpet moment. It's a fun stop if you're passing through the Contemporary, and easy to miss if you don't know to look for it.
No word yet on how long the display will be up, but it's worth checking out during the Easter season if you're in the area.
