Righteous Reef Playground at Disney's Art of Animation Resort Closed for Refurbishment

The Righteous Reef playground at Disney's Art of Animation Resort is closed for maintenance from April 20 through April 28, 2026.

Disney says that if you're staying at the resort during this period, you may also notice some noise or activity in the area while the work is underway.

You don't have to go without a playground during the closure. Disney is directing guests to the playground at the neighboring Disney's Pop Century Resort, which is a short walk away via the bridge connecting the two resorts.

Disney has not announced what the maintenance involves or whether any changes will be made to the playground as part of the work.
