Disney's Lakeshore Lodge Reveals Branch & Brush Lounge and New Lobby Concept Art
Branch & Brush lounge and the grand lobby get their first concept art reveal ahead of reservations opening October 6. The lounge sits just off the lobby and overlooks Bay Lake.

Disney has shared new details for Disney's Lakeshore Lodge ahead of reservations opening next week, including a first look at Branch & Brush — a new lounge just off the lobby — and updated concept art showing the grand lobby in full.

The Lobby

The new lobby rendering shows the space as guests will first experience it. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame unobstructed views of Bay Lake straight ahead, with The Wetlands pool area visible to the left. Hundreds of colorful glass leaves hang suspended from above as part of the blown glass Colors of the Wind sculpture, filling the soaring space with movement.

At the center of the lobby floor sits a custom bronze centerpiece designed by Walt Disney Imagineering, with the fiberoptic river flowing around it. Look closely and you'll find familiar characters from decades of Disney animated films etched into its design.

Branch & Brush

Just beyond the lobby, Branch & Brush is a new lounge serving handcrafted cocktails with Bay Lake views. The rendering shows a warm, intimate space built around a striking color-changing chandelier designed to reflect all four seasons — the central visual element of the room. Original Disney artwork lines the walls, and natural textures and rich colors run throughout.

It joins Moonglade, Bay Lake Provisions, Paint Out Point Bar & Grill, and Dandelion Terrace as the fifth confirmed food and beverage location at Disney's Lakeshore Lodge.

Disney has shared more art for Disney's Lakeshore Lodge - a wider view of the grand lobby and a first look at Branch & Brush lounge:

In the lobby, a fiberoptic river will illuminate the floor and flow around a custom bronze centerpiece designed by Walt Disney Imagineering:

These images highlight the color-changing chandelier in the lounge:
Me first! Looks like a bar I'd find at a Marriott.
Looks like they've changed this art since previous lobby render form earlier this year...shows they're still tinkering with the interior decor. Also, we see a peek of this area on the sides of this new render... good to see this layered soffit detailing is still there from Reflections

While it doesn't necessarily look like a Marriott (some parts of it do) it certainly has no thematic style other than "Modern Resort Hotel" Yes, there are some murals...looks exactly like the same design team that did the Poly Tower except told to do the same thing but think "Mountain Lake" instead of "Waikiki Hawaii"....Same basic feel...same basic vibe...just bigger.... Huge in fact. Actually it will be the largest resort in the Magic Kingdom Resort area with nearly a thousand rooms...It will dwarf all of the other resorts in terms of crowds... Good luck getting boat transportation anywhere...they will definitely need a dedicated boat service...not one shared with the Wilderness Lodge...
Was the motivation for this turd "Local Shopping Mall Food Court" or "Airport Terminal"?

Remember, this is the current level of talent from the same group that made:

And on top of that it has more rooms than any of those other resorts....
*Wonders how they are going to keep “hundreds of glass leaves” clean* 🤔

Last time we stayed at Grand Flo in Big Pine Key we saw them dropping down the chandeliers to clean. Could these have a similar mechanism?

Could very well be.
Still need to eventually experience this in person, but....this looks better than anything WDI has done with resorts at WDW in the last 10 years.

I'm not saying that this is the direction I would go in (I'm firmly a member of Team Ultra Theming a la Wilderness/Animal Kingdom lodges), but this is definitely a big improvement over the likes of the Riviera/Destino/Island.

How?
Truly something only DVC can pull off

To flip this argument on its head Marriott has several hotel collections under their belt.

Disney better be providing the services and amenities of your average hotel because charging $500 a night at a super themed hotel with non of the perks is a complete rip off.

The average guest doesn’t care about those things if they feel the experience is not up to par with the random hotel down the street.

I love the use of the fiber optic because it’s unique and not something you see at a “Marriott” or any other hotel brand.

They aren't (I get every-other-day housekeeping anywhere I stay these days), plus it's DVC. And this is not a "super themed hotel", either.
