Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course is set to close for an extensive renovation this summer, with work expected to run from late spring into early fall 2026.
The closure follows recent upgrades at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course and represents the most significant investment in Lake Buena Vista's playing conditions in recent times.
What's Changing
The renovation covers several areas of the course:
- Greens - Fully renovated with new contouring and elevation changes
- Green-side bunkers and chipping areas - Updated to improve playability
- Irrigation systems - Upgraded around the greens to better maintain turf conditions in the surrounding chipping areas
- Bunker drainage - New drainage systems installed across many bunkers to reduce water retention and speed up recovery after rain
- Teeing grounds - Enhancements to several tee areas
If you have a tee time at Lake Buena Vista booked for the summer, check with Disney Golf directly to confirm availability. The course is anticipated to reopen in the early fall.
Disney's other courses -- Magnolia, Palm, and Oak Trail - remain open during the Lake Buena Vista closure.
