Disney is once again shaking up its leadership structure, with Josh D'Amaro set to become the new President, Walt Disney World Resort.

Current Walt Disney World Resort President George Kalogridis will take on a new role of President Disney Segment Development and Enrichment. He will also lead the Disney Institute.

Josh D'Amaro has most recently been President, Disneyland Resort, but has previously held the post of Vice President Disney's Animal Kingdom and head of Resorts & Transportation at Walt Disney World.

Taking over from Josh at Disneyland is Rebecca Campbell, who most recently was president of Europe, Middle East and Africa for the company's direct-to-consumer and international segment.

No but I think he did have enough drinks to ask why is hotel room was $800 ;)

Did he tell him to stop with advanced bookings and return to 60-90 day dining reservations and legacy Fastpass rules?

"All of this has happened before, and it will happen again."

Cousin met Josh D’Amaro out tonight at the Enchanted Rose at Grand Floridian. Said he spent over 45 minutes talking to him and that he was hilarious. Good to see him out and about on property.

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/kevin-mayer-disneys-fox-acquisition-new-streaming-service-1169862 He closed the Fox deal according to this article.

I believe Mayer was heavily involved in the Fox deal as well.

Odd that his past working history before Disney is that he worked for Playboy. He probably took part in those infamous centerfold bunny parties Hugh Hefner had at the Playboy mansion. But in his most recent write up, Mayer working for Playboy is not in his resume. 😒

Kevin is the head of Disney streaming aka Disney+

NoChesterHesterOct 21, 2019

Haven’t heard of Kevin. Do you have a good opinion of him?

As a side note I heard that the pricing on some items has gone up. Mickey Bars and the refillable mugs were among the items I heard mentioned. Can anyone confirm this? Marie

You think Josh can figure out why we’re paying $6 for a Mickey Bar now? Because that sure as hell isn’t more Disney, more family, or more timeless.

Nobody expects you to remember “the little people”...only make sure you have the managers of the sweatshops that make your low quality product in China over for brunch 😉
