Walt Disney World has announced Kylee Withers and Phelicia Blake as the new 2026 - 2027 Ambassadors. The announcement was made this morning at EPCOT during a ceremony led by Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle.
"Becoming a Walt Disney World Ambassador is a dream come true," Kylee said. "It feels so surreal that we're going to represent our cast with all the growth ahead at Walt Disney World, and I'm so excited for the incredible moments that are ahead of us."
Prior to being selected, Kylee worked in Merchandise Finance. Phelicia was a Guest Experience Manager at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.
"What I'm looking forward to most as a Disney Ambassador is celebrating our 80,000 cast members here at Walt Disney World," Phelicia said. "I love that at Disney, we create happiness for each other and our guests every day, and I can't wait to continue doing that with Kylee these next two years."
The Disney Ambassador Program
The Disney Ambassador Program is a long-standing tradition that began in 1965 when Walt Disney appointed Julie Reihm Casaletto to represent Disneyland during its 10th anniversary. Since then, nearly 250 cast members across Disney destinations worldwide have served in the role.
Ambassadors represent cast members at Disney parks, resorts, and experiences around the globe. They serve as spokespersons, community leaders, and event hosts, playing a visible role in celebrating milestones, recognizing cast achievements, and supporting Disney's connection with local communities.
Each Disney resort destination has its own Ambassador team, including Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disney Resort, Hong Kong Disneyland, Shanghai Disney Resort, and Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa.
The program marks its 60th anniversary in 2025, coinciding with Disneyland's 70th anniversary. For decades, Disney Ambassadors have played an important role in honoring Disney's cast and carrying forward the traditions set in place by Walt Disney himself.
Withers and Blake will now represent more than 75,000 Walt Disney World cast members as the face and voice of the resort for the next two years, carrying on the legacy of the program while ushering in new milestones for the resort.
