Disney has named Thomas Mazloum as the next Chairman of Disney Experiences, along with three other leadership changes in the division.

Mazloum currently serves as President of Disneyland Resort. He will succeed Josh D'Amaro, who becomes Disney CEO on March 18, 2026.

Jill Estorino will replace Mazloum as President of Disneyland Resort. She currently serves as President of Disney Parks International.

All transitions take effect March 18, the same day D'Amaro takes over as CEO from Bob Iger.

D'Amaro on Mazloum Selection

D'Amaro praised Mazloum's leadership and track record in announcing the appointment.

"Thomas Mazloum is an exceptional leader with a genuine appreciation for our cast members and a proven track record of delivering growth," D'Amaro said. "His focus on service excellence, broad international leadership, and strong connection to the creativity that brings our stories to life make him the right leader to guide Disney Experiences into its next chapter."

D'Amaro emphasized the division's growth trajectory.

"We're in an unprecedented period of growth for Disney Experiences," D'Amaro said. "This team will propel the world-class experiences Disney is known for to more guests across the globe."

Mazloum's Background

Disney says Mazloum brings deep operational knowledge of Disney Experiences, international leadership experience, and commitment to Disney's cast members and creative culture.

Before joining Disney, Mazloum built a foundation in European luxury hospitality with extensive experience across high-end hotels in food and beverage, guest services, and hotel operations.

He later served as Chief Operating Officer of Crystal Cruise Line, where he drove service excellence, transformed organizational cultures, and launched new travel ventures.

Mazloum held senior leadership roles at Walt Disney World Resort before being named President of Disney Signature Experiences. In that role, he developed a long-term strategic growth plan that included doubling the size of the Disney Cruise Line fleet.

With the recent launch of Disney Adventure in Singapore, the cruise line's eighth ship and first homeported in Asia, the business expanded into new growth markets and reached the next generation of fans.

Most recently, as President of Disneyland Resort, Mazloum oversaw two theme parks, three hotels, and the Downtown Disney District during the resort's 70th anniversary celebration.

Jill Estorino Named Disneyland Resort President

Over her 35-year career, Estorino held numerous leadership roles, including Executive Vice President of Global Marketing and Sales for Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, where she played a role in the grand opening of Shanghai Disney Resort.

Most recently, as President of Disney Parks International, Estorino oversaw operations, expansion, and development of Disney's international parks and resorts, including Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, Shanghai Disney Resort, and Tokyo Disney Resort with the Oriental Land Company.

Tasia Filippatos Named Disney Parks International President

Filippatos will oversee the growth and evolution of Disney's parks outside the United States.

Most recently, Filippatos served as President of Disney Consumer Products, guiding the business through a period of transformation. Her leadership included a global portfolio spanning products, parks merchandise, retail, publishing, and games.

In her new role, she will oversee operations, expansion, and development of Disney's international parks, including Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, Shanghai Disneyland, Tokyo Disney Resort in partnership with Oriental Land Company, and the newest park coming to Abu Dhabi in partnership with Miral.

Lisa Baldzicki Named Disney Consumer Products President

Baldzicki was most recently head of Parks Product Development & Retail for Disney Consumer Products, where she defined the vision and business strategy for retail product and integrated experiences across Disney's domestic parks. She brought a consumer-led merchandising perspective to the role, shaping strategies that drive how guests engage with products and brands before, during, and after purchase.

In her new role, she will lead the global retail division of The Walt Disney Company. The division includes the world's largest licensing business with a presence across more than 100 product categories and a global reach spanning over 180 countries.

Disney Experiences Division

Disney Experiences is the company's largest business segment, generating $36.2 billion in revenue and $10 billion in segment operating income in fiscal 2025.

The chairman oversees a diverse portfolio of global businesses including Disney's theme parks, cruise ships, resort hotels, expeditions and adventures, consumer products, and Walt Disney Imagineering.

The division includes 12 theme parks, 57 resort hotels, Disney Cruise Line, and 185,000 Cast Members worldwide.

D'Amaro expressed confidence in the leadership team taking over the division.

"As we look ahead, I have tremendous confidence in Thomas and in the leaders stepping into these roles - Jill, Tasia, and Lisa - along with the incredible leadership team across Disney Experiences," D'Amaro said. "Together, they will continue to build on our momentum around the world, delivering the service, creativity and one-of-a-kind experiences that define Disney."

Transition Timeline

Transitions will get under way in the next few weeks, with all roles effective March 18, 2026.

D'Amaro will officially become CEO at Disney's Annual Meeting on March 18. The Disney Board of Directors unanimously elected him on February 3.

Bob Iger will continue as Senior Advisor and Board member until his retirement on December 31, 2026.

Dana Walden was also promoted to President and Chief Creative Officer, a newly created position. She will report directly to D'Amaro and oversee storytelling and creative expression across all Disney businesses.

He’ll likely continue to do sections of things. D23 was still Iger forward. While he clearly liked the hob nobbing around media figures, he still was visible for his own legacy projects. What I do think you’ll see is Dana’s presentation Friday, Tom’s Saturday and Josh being on Legends Sunday. With bleeding around the edges. Where we won’t see him is Destination D23, but we didn’t even have that last year to begin with.

I am sad to hear that as since the Fiftieth Anniversary the way Disneyland was being run made the way WDW was being run look like a joke.

DisneyDad55Mar 14, 2026

Agreed. Disneyland has been hit hard in the last year….

EricsBiscuitMar 14, 2026

I have a sneaky suspicion that Josh is gonna keep doing the parks presentation at D23. He enjoys it too much.

I’m confused because it seems like TDA is in absolute shambles right now as far as entertainment goes. Have you seen the state of their Fantasmic??? Embarrassing to say the least.

TrainsOfDisneyMar 14, 2026

How so? At one time I may have agreed with you. But currently?

zero…zilch…none “President of wdw” is like the guy that traditionally tried to get things out of the local governments and showed up to community events… I don’t think they ever even had the password to the computer where actual monetary numbers are kept. It’s an oligarchy…at best

SirwalterraleighMar 12, 2026

Looks like a real peach, huh?

SirwalterraleighMar 12, 2026

Nah….been doing that in Orlando for over a decade already 👍🏻

eddie104Mar 12, 2026

This the guy you praising. Hope it’s all false.

WDW under Vahle: Mazloum has a lot of hospitality experience. I don't know if/how that's necessarily going to translate well into the parks. People will get a taste of his presentation skills at D23, I'd imagine.

Tha RealestMar 11, 2026

We’ve gone to both WDW and DL a bunch over the last few years. I’m not sure what external factors magically only affect WDW va DL, but the guest experience has far more greatly diminished at WDW as compared to DL. That’s on Vahle.

DisneyDad55Mar 11, 2026

Great…. now he gets to cut onsite hotel perks, cut park hours, close entrances, and dumb down the menu at all of the other parks just like he did at Disneyland…..

parksandtravelMar 11, 2026

They tilted leadership with recent Disneyland experience for a reason. I don't believe in coincidences.
