Lightning McQueen is heading to Monza. The Piston Cup champion arrives at the FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO D'ITALIA 2026, marking 20 years since Cars first hit theaters.
The appearance brings together two racing icons: Disney and Pixar's Lightning McQueen and one of motorsport's most storied race weekends.
At Monza, you'll see Lightning McQueen decked out in an all-new F1-inspired design. The look pairs his classic red paint job with Formula 1 branding, right down to his tires and wheels.
The collaboration doesn't stop with McQueen. Disney and Formula 1 also created a special Mercedes-AMG Safety Car livery for the weekend. The car carries matching red and white styling, along with Cars branding on its doors and hood, so it looks like it rolled straight off the Radiator Springs set.
If you're a Cars fan following the Italian Grand Prix, keep an eye out for McQueen and the safety car throughout the race weekend.
